RAFTERY 'NOT A GENIUS' - IT'S OFFICIAL
Armando Iannucci shocked a nationwide audience of Radio 4 listeners by pronouncing that Richard Raftery's idea to curb lawlessness by forcing all criminals to wear flip-flops was not, in fact, a genius idea. Raftery is said to be taking it well and has been heartened by the many wellwishers who have declared him to have been 'robbed'. 'Life must go on' he said, 'and I have other ideas to offer. Square peas which would not roll off your plate, the beer glass with the lockable lid and the security brassiere, complete with zip and combination lock, are just a few which are to be developed in the near future'.To hear Raftery live on Genius simply go to links page and click on the link.
